Meat Causes Cancer

  • You should avoid high carbohydrate foods and sugared beverages. They cause obesity and diabetes and pose risks to your health that are hundreds of times greater than this tiny, possible WHO red meat association.
    1. You should make sure you get a colonoscopy at age 50, unless you have a family history of colorectal cancer, in which case you should probably get it around age 40. Ask your doctor. This is the # 1 Proven Way to reduce the risk of colorectal cancer. Red meat avoidance has never been shown to be a successful strategy to reduce colorectal cancer.
    1. Consider limiting excess intake of red and processed meat. Maybe.
